Each box contains 2 cubic feet of premium dried split hardwood. Packed with heartwood from large diameter trees this offer contains very little bark or sapwood. Heartwood is the most dense wood inside a tree and produces the most heat. Dense wood is good for radiation and conduction of heat through hot coal transfer. Super Split for good burn rate and flame production. Less bark means less smoke during startup ignition and less ash to clean up after a cook.
All pizza wood is manufactured from pre-consumer content sourced from culled timber products in the Southeastern United States and is free from chemical treatments.
