Oak chunks goes with just about any meat. If Hickory is the King then Oak is the Queen. Heavier smoke flavor than Pecan but lighter than Hickory. Entirely different flavor from Hickory wood. Oak is an excellent smoking wood to add with Charcoal for cooking beef steaks. A dense hardwood these chunks last a while.
